โ–ถSummary

We applied for this project because it addresses some of the most urgent challenges in Europe, such as environmental sustainability, demographic change, and social inclusion. The goal is to promote a new business culture based on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and employee welfare, integrating economic, social, and environmental objectives. This approach not only improves corporate image but also boosts productivity, reduces absenteeism, and enhances business resilience, meeting the needs of the post-pandemic labor market. The needs were related to supporting companies in implementing effective CSR strategies and employee welfare plans. Labor shortages, dissatisfaction with working conditions, and the increasing focus on work-life balance demanded innovative solutions. Furthermore, many companies were unprepared to meet the needs of a diverse workforce, such as workers with disabilities and working mothers. Lastly, there was an urgent need to address environmental challenges with more sustainable business practices.

โ–ถObjectives

The general objective of the project was to empower SME owners and managers to become promoters of a new business paradigm that harmonizes the economic goals of their companies with employee welfare and the social and environmental objectives of their territories. This approach aims to preserve environmental, social, and human heritage for current and future generations while improving employee well-being and enhancing sustainability and business resilience. This vision translated into two specific objectives: -Increase public awareness of the importance of adopting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and employee welfare strategies to foster social inclusion, environmental protection, and greater attractiveness of companies in the labor market. -Strengthen the skills of managers and business owners by providing practical tools to design and implement CSR and welfare strategies through a flexible training program tailored to territorial and business needs.
