MAIN AIM The project’s main aim, coherently with the horizontal main priority, was to increase the inclusion of women in education and training courses in order to promote their access to the labor market, improve the quality of their career and reduce the gender gap in the labor market regarding both the employment and the payment level The OBJECTIVES were: - to promote and spread among women a concept of career that focuses on passions, talents, desires, inspirations and ambition - to improve the access of women to quality and innovative education, - to increase the competences of adult educators in professional coaching and one2one support of women professional development - to share good practices on women employability and career development - to improve the overall quality of the work carried out by the partners and by other adult education organisations - to support other organisations in implementing new tools to support gender equality - to promote an holistic approach in adult education, that take care of the whole person and of their needs - to support the use of digital tools for learning
▶Activities
The main activities implemented were: - the development of the 11+1 online programme to help women to restart their career. It included: 4 cross sectorial FOCUS GROUPS; the 3+2 days RESIDENTIAL LEARNING ACTIVIY to share the results and good practices; the designing of the programme, realization of the scripts, recording and editing of 77 VIDEOS, the professional subtitling; the TESTING with 3 groups of women; the realisation of a WORKBOOK in 4 languages; the creation of the YOUTUBE CHANNEL - the development of a career coaching programme and One2One support programme for adult educators: 4+2 days RESIDENTIAL TRAINING COURSE for 9 adult educators; ONLINE COACHING AND MENTORING SESSIONS for the same 9 adult educators; the realization (writing and editing) of the Booklet "Empowering women to rediscover their strenghts, redefine their careers and realize their full potentials" - dissemination of result through a project's WEBSITE and LOGO, a virtual ESCAPE ROOM, 2 articles on EPALE, 2 virtual communities in FB, a system of consultation with local associated partners to support them in adopting the programme, 3 multipliers events - project management and administration of the project
▶Impact
The main output and results: - the creation of an innovative online programme on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/@restartyourcareer. 77 videos in English with subtitles in Greek, Italian and Portuguese + a workbook full of exercises related to the videos in the same four languages - The Booklet "Empowering women to rediscover their strenghts, redefine their careers and realize their full potentials", for adult educators, that includes a theoretical introduction, a mini-training manual featuring exercises and techniques that educators can use with women or share with other professionals. The booklet is also available in 4 languages - the Escape room, an interactive and immersive acrivity designed to inspire self-reflection and growth. It challenges participants to solve puzzles and uncover insights about gender inequality, work-life balance, financial mindset, personal branding and networking - a project website and logo - 2 facebook communities
