Objectives

ASAP aims to strengthen the educational communities through the introduction of stable metacognitive practices in the schools and the reflection on the cognitive processes implied in the use of the media, not only from a psycho-pedagogical point of view but under a transdisciplinary perspective. ASAP also acknowledge pre-adolescence (age 11-13) and identifies its characteristics, through the data collected during activities, contributing to its scientific recognition and relevance.

Activities

- Research activities on social media from a transdisciplinary perspective - Development and Evaluation of an Education Programme on Pre-adolescents and Social media education based on metacognition and learning to learn skills - Experimental education activities (pilot courses on Social media education in the schools for students, teachers, parents; pilot courses for training Educators) - Communication and dissemination activities - Exploitation activities (producing Policy Recommendations)
