TEACHER OF MY DREAM

Objectives The "TEACHER OF MY DREAM" (TOM D.) project aims to develop an intervention methodology in favor of young people with ADHD through the integration of the social circus methodology with the emotional education methodology, in favor of the emotional well-being of young people people involved, to overcome the feeling of inadequacy and the risk of social isolation. Activities The project includes the following activities: - training of the staff of two social circus schools on emotional education methodologies by the staff of an organization founded by expert psychotherapists; - an action research carried out in two different countries, with the involvement of project organizations and young people with ADHD; - dissemination of guidelines on the innovative method and on the conduct of games / exercises to be used for the project objective. Impact The project aims to spread the TOM D. method in order to allow young people with ADHD to develop emotional and relational skills, lowering the risk of social isolation, develop relaxation techniques to reduce impulsivity, increase the levels of attention in contrast to the risk of dropping out of studies and difficulties of inclusion in the working world. The possibility of disseminating the social circus tool for young people will also be guaranteed.
