Youth Community Leaders in rural areas of South

Objectives The purpose of this project is to engage youth coming from rural areas in South- Western Europe to become effective leaders within their communities through community based capacity-building measures. The project equips youth with tools to develop their own unique and innovative solutions to address real-life challenges and foster the 2030 Agenda, encouraging participants to become change makers, capable of developing their ideas from plans to practice as recognised leaders in their communities. Activities Engagement of young participants from rural areas (age 14-19) in IT, ESP, PT Involvement of stakeholders in education & employment area, non-profit org, and policy makers in each local community Delivery of hybrid training modules on Leadership, Gender Equality, SDGs, Social innovation, Digital skills, Environmental issues Testing and validation of the training path and delivery of OERs (e-learning platform /modules) Multiplier events in each Country Transnational peer learning event in Brussel Impact Increased socio-professional development of 90 young people coming from rural areas of IT, ESP, PT Increased engagement of young people on their role of leaders and agents for sustainable development within their communities Creation of socially innovative services for the community Strengthened transnational synergies, peer learning and cooperation between stakeholders Increased awareness of policy makers in the field of youth leadership and community development in IT, ESP, PT Link to project card: Show project card The content of this page is published for information purposes only.
