By implementing this project, we aimed to involve 16-18-year-old students from Lithuania, Croatia and Greece with different interaction level at schools: less active students, Student Council members and the EPAS teams, who want to build a sense of responsibility for the environment. In harmony with the strategic needs of all three schools, we set three main objectives in the project: 1. To develop international cooperation among 3 EPA schools, raising awareness of EU initiatives in the European Green Course and contributing to Europe’s continent to become eco friendly continent; 2. To promote the leadership of young people encouraging their involvement in the civic and environmental engagement activities in each country and learning non formally; 3. To improve XXI st century competencies – communication, digitalization, leadership, problem solving, critical thinking, initiative and social skills – and apply them in creating the main project outputs and other results.

There were three main stages planned in the project - EPAS International Cooperation, Creating and testing ecological routes in Croatia and Spreading the voice of "Go Europe Green": from idea to European networking in Greece. Before, during and after the study visits in each country we implemented the following activities: • Leadership activities: team building, networking, project logo contest; • Communication workshops in each country to create chat groups for communication, movies about their own school, share ideas and opinions; • Non formal learning activities in order to get knowledge about ecological problems around the world; • Social and initiative activities to promote a sense of environmental responsibility; • Digitalization activities to create ecological routes in each country and test by the students from Lithuania, Croatia and Greece; presentation materials; • Study visits in each country in order to learn and participate internationally; • Dissemination activities: WordPress blog of the project was created and the information of the project team, activities and ecological routes had been posted there; conferences and the tour of sharing the results of the project.

1. An international network of Go Europe Green schools was created. 2. The weblog “Go Europe Green with EPAS” was created in order to promote activities and results. 3. 3 study visits organized in Lithuania, Croatia and Greece. 4. 7 ecological routes were created in Lithuania, Croatia and Greece, which were published on Google Maps (2 routes), and on the global travel network www.wikiloc.com 6 routes). 5. All participants acquired knowledge on Europe’s Green Course politics, environmental problems in each country and skills through practical sessions: lectures, international conferences, discussions, trips to national parks, reserves, visits to cultural heritage objects in partner cities, drawing up routes according to the visited objects. 6. All participants improved their leadership, problem-solving, English, digital and civic competencies. 7. There were 2 international conferences organized in Croatia and Greece and a tour of sharing results nationally in Lithuania. 8.The results of the project are a methodological and practical example for other schools and societies internationally in order to promote their living places as green environments, participate actively and learn to become eco friendly communities.
