▶Objectives
There is still a lack of a universally applicable STEAM teaching methodology for students older than 15 in various countries. The project brings together an international team to prepare STEAM methodology in parallel with ecological literacy in formal and non-formal education, developing three long-term intellectual products: the teaching concept (IO1), teaching materials (IO2) and the practical guide (IO3). They are designed to increase the motivation, knowledge and skills of EcoSTEAM learning.
▶Activities
All activities will be aimed at teaching STEAM subjects in parallel with the development of ecological literacy, promoting greater interest in STEAM and the fight against climate change, developing key competencies, and designing career opportunities. There will be 3 intellectual outputs in English, 4 Transnational project meetings, piloting of teaching program at national and international level. All IO will be adapted and translated into Lithuanian, Turkish, N. Macedonian and Greek languages.
▶Impact
During the implementation of the project EcoSTEAM Development, the international team will create universal methodological tools based on experimental, creative practical activities for STEAM and ecological literacy efficiency. The Eco STEAM e-Learning Concept, e-Teaching program and e-Guide will be developed, which will increase ecological literacy and the motivation of students to study STEAM.
