The project intends to respond to the lack of qualified workers that the sector of care is facing on. As suggested in 2021 Long-Term Care Report Trends “TECHNOLOGIES COULD BRING SEVERAL BENEFITS to this sector and THIS REQUIRES MORE AND MORE SPECIFIC SKILLS” (SPC and EC 2021). In fact, the main learning strategy of the C@RE project is based on the concept of AUGMENTED LEARNING, an on-demand learning technique in which the environment adapts to the learner, TO DEVELOP NEW SKILLS.

The C@RE activities will: - Deliver a COMPETENCE FRAMEWORK with NEW DIGITAL AND RELATIONAL & EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT SKILLS required by the labor market (WP2) - Release a TRAINING COURSE with training scenarios created around the new needs of care workers (WP3) - Create a SOCIAL LEARNING MOTIVATIONAL PLATFORM, with the materials developed as AR components (WP4) Activities regarding management, communication, exploitation and sustainability will be foreseen to assure its smooth implementation.

Project activities will achieve the following RESULTS: 1. A competence framework for care workers inspired by 2 TYPES OF SKILLS IDENTIFIED AS NECESSARY (NEW DIGITAL AND RELATIONAL & EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT SKILLS) IN THE CARE SECTOR 2. A training course based on learning scenarios to motivate and trigger a problem-based learning approach in care workers 3. A social learning motivational platform that will include training materials competences framework as well as augmented reality components.
