The project aimed to develop IT training courses to improve digital readiness and capacity for both migrant learners and adult education staff. By addressing the digital skills gap, the project sought to support migrants’ integration into the labor market and broader society. Additional objectives included enhancing the competence of educators to deliver virtual and blended courses and creating accessible pathways for migrants to participate in vocational and upskilling programs, contributing to their well-being and inclusion. The ultimate goal was to foster the reception and integration of refugees and migrants while contributing to national priorities of reducing unemployment and supporting vulnerable adults.

The project implemented several key activities, including a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify specific IT skills gaps among migrants and educators. Workshops and pilot courses were conducted to train educators in IT skills, enabling them to deliver blended and virtual courses. Similarly, IT training programs for migrant learners were rolled out, designed to be accessible and aligned with labor market needs. Continuous feedback loops and collaboration with European adult education centers ensured the courses met the identified needs and were scalable for future use.

The project resulted in several tangible outputs, including the development of IT training modules for both adult education staff and migrant learners. These courses improved the digital competence of educators, enabling them to deliver high-quality virtual and blended learning programs. Migrants who completed the training gained essential IT skills, empowering them to participate in vocational training and access employment opportunities. Additionally, the Training Needs Analysis provided valuable data for European adult education centers to better align upskilling programs with the needs of migrants and employers. The project also supported national priorities by promoting the inclusion of unemployed and vulnerable adults.
