▶Objectives
The project aimed to enhance and upskill the competences of municipal employees in order to enable them to design climate neutral cities strategies, such as Climate City Contracts. Furthermore strengthen the innovation and design capacity of Municipality employees regarding urban sustainable development by training them specific in strategy design and entrepreneurship. By increasing the capacity of professionals to deal with Climate Neutrality issues accurately and efficiently, they will be better equipped to transform their local authority with green initiatives and actions, in that way combating climate change locally. Furthermore, they will be able to promote and disseminate sustainable good practices to the local community, and mobilize other local stakeholders towards climate neutrality. The target group participants will be equipped with innovative digital learning tools, as well as trained on how to use them and involve them in their work, and enable distance learning. By training and upskilling professionals in designing climate neutral city strategies, sustainable development and digital innovation, they will be in a better position to assess and combat modern market needs and trends, especially regarding climate issues.
▶Activities
Several activities were implemented during the project under the different work packages. These include: - Development of a roadmap for designing local strategies covering a diverse set of topics which is available in a pdf document of xx pages as well as a digital versions on the project website / online hub. A promotional video of the roadmap was also created - Development of an open source online course for municipal staff and other stakeholders , available in all partner languages - Selection of success stories from the different partner countries, interviews with selected stakeholders and filming/production of 10 short videos available on YouTube - Development of an Online Hub linked to the project website including all the project resources - Communication, outreach and dissemination activities through various channels across all participating countries

The concrete results achieved during the project and on its completion are: - Roadmap for Designing Local Strategies for Climate Neutral Cities to upskill municipal employees; - «Transition to Climate Neutral Cities» training course; - «Success Stories of initiatives for the Transition to climate neutrality in cities» videos; - «Transition to Climate Neutral Cities» Online Hub
