▶Objectives
More than ever European professionals are working together with Europeans of others countries and have to deal with cultural differences. CAPIRE is creating a Culture Sensitiser: a digital intercultural training tool that introduces students and professionals to the cultures of five different European countries. CAPIRE unites intercultural specialists from 5 European universities. Our goal is to enhance intercultural understanding and collaboration in Europe.
▶Activities
In order to achieve this goal we will implement the following activities: - to collect all existing knowledge about this kind of tool by a literature review - to construct a user-friendly and attractive digital infrastructure for the tool - to carry out qualitative research (interviews) and, with the acquired data, to write the Culture Sensitisers - to test it extensively, improve it and offer it online for free to the public
▶Impact
The project will yield a modern digital tool, which will enhance intercultural competence and promote a more inclusive and open mindset among the users. It will be available online for free. This tool will considerably help teachers to deal with the complex subject of cultural differences. In general, it will improve understanding and collaboration between Europeans.
