▶Objectives
By introducing the CP4T program, including the updated guides and the multimodule course, we aimed to harmonize and modernize the teaching and training of Clinical Pharmacology and Therapeutics (CPT) across Europe and beyond. The project sought to educate and support CPT teachers through updated teaching materials that reflect the latest educational insights, offer an aligned CPT curriculum that also takes into account the needs of students with disabilities, and provide a comprehensive assessment program covering both traditional and emerging topics. Furthermore, the program aimed to foster collaboration between European universities through international and interprofessional student-run clinics, facilitating teacher and student exchange opportunities. After the project, the complete “teach-the-teacher” package—including the training activities, aligned CPT curriculum, comprehensive assessment program, and international collaboration framework—will be freely available to all medical universities worldwide.
▶Activities
Within this project we have completed/executed to following activities: - Conducting needs analysis and research about the two WHO guides; - Conducting research on therapeutics reasoning; - Conducting research on differences between prescribers; - Developing and updating the WHO Guide to Good Prescribing; - Developing and updating the WHO Teacher’s Guide to Good Prescribing; - Designing and piloting various multimodule teach the teacher courses; - Conducting research on the bricks and barriers in organizing teach the teacher courses; - Organizing new multimodule teach the teacher courses; - Organizing Student-run Medication Review sessions; - Conducting research on Student-Run medication Review sessions; - Developing new teaching materials; - Coordinating consortium meetings and dissemination events.

Within this project we have achieved the following outputs/results: - Creating and maintaining the project website; - Creating and maintaining a SharePoint page; - Posting news articles on the project website and social media; - 11 videoconference calls including minutes/reports; - 5 transnational project meetings including minutes/reports; - Revised version of Guide to Good Prescribing - Revised version of Teacher’s Guide to Good Prescribing - Teach the Teacher coursers; 5 in-person and 2 online - 12 International Student-Run Medication Reviews - 9 published research papers in peer-reviewed journals; - 5 papers in progress to publish; - Teaching materials: Guide on how to create a videoclip about ‘the medicine of the week; 9 Translated and 22 new video clips of Medicine of the week; Turtorial about how to use AI in creating diverse and inclusive patient cases; An AI metaprompt with a seed to create synthetic clinical cases Turtorial on what and how to teach about prescribing anti-hyperglycaemic drugs; Turtorial on Team-Based Learning (TBL); Turtorial on high-fidelity simulation education; List of the most important drug-drug interactions that should be taugt to students; Report on therapeutic reasoning
