▶Objectives
The project aimed to develop an Extended Mathematics Core Curriculum (EMCC) tailored for VI students, together with detailed instruction guidelines for both braille specialists and math teachers. By providing material, training professionals and testing the resources we ensure that learning becomes more inclusive, we contribute to improved teaching practices, and strengthen cooperation between countries working in this field.
▶Activities
Within the framework of this project, a team of experts from the partner organisations reviewed existing materials, adapted them for VI learners, and developed new content where needed. The process included workshops, testing the materials in schools, and collecting feedback from teachers, professionals, and students. This ensured the materials’ effectiveness and accessibility. Additionally, a series of training sessions for teachers and braille experts across partner countries were implemented, and we carried out dissemination and awareness activities, including creating a project website where all the project materials can be found and used.
