Objectives

The LEADER Scale Up project aims to enhance soft skills development, expand the reach of the original initiative, and align with European educational priorities. It empowers individuals by fostering skills like leadership, teamwork, and communication, essential for navigating a changing world. A key focus is supporting teachers and trainers by providing tools, resources, and training to integrate soft skills into teaching, promoting professional growth. Flexible learning tools are designed for use in contexts such as citizenship education, team-building, language learning and preparing individuals for the labour market. The project emphasizes digital and inclusive learning, combining online and offline methods to ensure accessibility for diverse groups, including migrants and young professionals, while strengthening digital competence. Activities are linked to the Sustainable Development Goals to raise awareness about sustainability in education and business. By scaling its tools, expanding the e-learning platform, and offering digital and physical resources, the project fosters inclusion, innovation and lifelong learning in education and professional sectors across Europe.

Activities

The project achieved its objectives by enhancing its e-learning platform based on the DigCompEdu Framework. Key activities included creating video lessons, assignments, and teacher workshops, alongside a transnational blended course for 25 teachers and local workshops in partner countries. New materials, such as the LEADER Card and board game, provided offline options for skills training and were integrated into the platform, expanding activities from 50 to over 100. These covered topics like citizenship and SDGs, fostering awareness and engagement. The exploitability framework ensured tools were maximized through workshops, train-the-trainer sessions, and user guides, enabling effective adoption by educators. Continuous feedback refined outcomes to meet user needs. By scaling online and offline activities, the project increased flexibility, accessibility, and innovation in education and professional development, making significant strides in expanding its impact.

Impact

The LEADER Scale Up project delivered concrete outputs and results, including the creation of teaching and training materials such as videos, worksheets, and the LEADER Card Game, alongside an expanded e-learning platform aligned with the DigCompEdu Framework. The platform houses over 100 activities focused on soft skills, citizenship, and the SDGs. Workshops and a transnational blended course trained teachers and trainers to use these tools, while local workshops refined materials for educators and businesses. A platform section tailored for entrepreneurs features activities like team-building exercises. The project developed an exploitability framework with user guides, train-the-trainer resources, and identified user possibilities, ensuring relevance and usability. Additional outputs include a new board game, complementing the card game and significant improvements to the LEADER app, enhancing its functionality and user experience. These unplanned outputs increased the project’s success. The project promotes innovation, sustainability awareness, and digital competencies while creating scalable tools for lasting impact.
