Hidden Diamonds brings together women with a migration background who, despite obstacles, have managed to become politically active or who are successful professionally or culturally. They serve as a positive example for gender equality and inclusion in the local communities and as role models for other young women with a migration background. Hi engage them in empowering these young women, providing them with self-esteem, self-efficacy and knowledge about political contexts in the EU and career opportunities. In this way, positive role models are created for young women with a migration background. Within the framework of the project, these young women receive concrete starting points for their own civil society or political commitment and experience themselves as self-efficacious as a result. Knowledge about political structures and processes within the EU is conveyed in order to strengthen their trust in politics and democracy
