The goal of the project was to get more involved and change civic attitudes on environmental and climate issues by organizing joint social actions and civic education. The project was to highlight the role of women in the public space and their efforts to communicate effectively with local and supralocal authorities in the face of climate and energy challenges. The correct implementation of the project and the achievement of the planned results was possible thanks to the project partnership of two women's organizations from Poland and Austria. By raising the competencies of non-professional adult education personnel, an interesting and diverse educational offer was created for all citizens and generations. Two issues of the high-circulation publication “Vademecum ekologiczne” (Ecological Vademecum), used for environmental and climate protection education, became a material result of working out and consulting on common ideas and innovative solutions. An important achievement of the project was mutual support, exchange of experiences and solutions to the inevitable climate challenges as seen from the perspective of women.

As part of the project, the following activities were implemented: 1. International meetings in the form of green travel: The first was organized in Poland (08-11.10.2022), the second in Austria (23-26.03.2023), and the third also in Austria (17-20.04.2024). 2. Project management and online staff meetings: both organizations held monthly board meetings, which allowed for constant coordination of activities. Meetings were documented (online meeting records, international meeting reports, interim and final report, accounting documents), which improved staff skills. 3. Development and publication of educational materials: Two free environmental handbooks were published (a total of 10,000 copies), which became a key element of environmental education for adults. 4. Local meetings: Both organizations held local meetings, involving their members, management, volunteers, and institutional and business partners. 5. Environmental webinars: Three webinars prepared by the project participants were held, enabling them to share experiences and learn new skills in media, personal presentation and creating an organization's image.

The project produced many measurable results, which were realized by teams of non-professional adult education staff from both partner organizations: 1. Increased civic awareness: The project contributed to increased interest in climate and energy policy at the local and global levels. 2. Environmental education: A key outcome was the transfer of knowledge and experience at international meetings, which resulted in the development of educational materials in the form of two issues of a free high-circulation publication “Ecological Vademecum” (10,000 copies). 3. Cooperation of women's organizations: Two women's nonprofit organizations from Poland and Austria took joint action against climate and energy challenges, also establishing cooperation with other organizations and decision-makers in climate policy. 4. Strengthening environmental messages through: ● three public webinars, ● three local meetings: one in Poland and two in Austria ● the material result of the cooperation: two issues of the 68th-page publication “Ecological Vademecum” (10 thousand copies) ● dissemination in social media (IG, Fb), and on the website https://cieszynskienaobcasach.pl/category/vadem/
