Objectives

We intended to illustrate the vast possibilities for practical and pragmatic education in the 21st century. By demonstrating how VR and CLIL can be utilized to explore European history and traditions, we aimed to showcase the potential of these methods in engaging and educating students effectively. Furthermore, we hoped that our solutions would not be limited to Poland and Cyprus but would resonate with educators in other EU member states due to their universal themes. We aspired for our project to serve as a catalyst for innovation and collaboration across Europe, fostering a shared understanding of European history and culture among students and educators alike. In essence, we aimed to empower students and teachers with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the complexities of the modern world, fostering a sense of European identity and citizenship while breaking down barriers to education and opportunity. Through collaboration and innovation, we aimed to shape a more inclusive and interconnected future for all. We aimed to demonstrate the pragmatic dimension of learning English as a tool for discovering more about the history and culture of EU. Additionally, we sought to encourage teachers to adopt bilingual solutions.
