Objectives

The main objectives of the project were: 1.Institutional growth and internationalization of WIR and COSVITEC in the areas of career counseling, assimilation, and integration of immigrants in the professional context through transnational cooperation. This approach enabled the exchange of experiences, understanding the realities of career counselors' work, and learning about labor markets, including those for immigrants. 2.Development and implementation of a new online tool - the Integrative Individual Action Plan (i-IAP) and the guide 'Assimilation of Immigrants in the Professional Context,' which improved the quality of vocational education and training at WIR, COSVITEC, and other labor market institutions. This approach enhanced the quality of services provided by career counselors by adapting their tools. 3.Promoting equal access, social and professional inclusion, and counteracting discrimination and stereotypes in the context of immigrants by adapting career counseling tools at WIR and COSVITEC. This resulted in effective and efficient actions aimed at supporting immigrants in integrating and assimilating into their new environment and labor market.

Activities

1. Working Groups Working groups and study visits took place in Poland and Italy, with three groups in each country. Each group produced a report in Polish, Italian, and English. 2. Integrative Individual Action Plan (i-IAP) The i-IAP online tool was developed to assess the professional potential of immigrants, guide career development, and adapt qualifications to the labor market. It helps determine the level of community integration and is available in Polish, Italian, English, and Ukrainian. 3. Guide for Career Counselors The guide 'Assimilation of Immigrants in the Professional Context' serves as a practical handbook for integrating immigrants into the labor market, covering economic, cultural, socio-political, and identity aspects. It is available in Polish, Italian, English, and Ukrainian. 4. Testing and Dissemination The tool was tested by career counselors from both partner countries. Two conferences and working meetings were held with WIR and COSVITEC representatives. Efforts were made to disseminate and promote the project and its outcomes.

Impact

1.Development and implementation of the Integrative Individual Action Plan (i-IAP) as a permanent tool for WIR and COSVITEC, an online resource designed to streamline the career counseling process for immigrants. This tool is made available to everyone under a free license. 2.Creation of the guide 'Assimilation of Immigrants in the Professional Context,' a handbook for career counselors supporting immigrants in integrating into new societies, covering economic, cultural, socio-political, and identity dimensions. 3.Counteracting discrimination, stereotypes, professional exclusion, and overcoming intercultural divisions in the labor market through project-related activities and dissemination of its results. 4.Internationalization and institutional growth of the project partners and development of the applied tools into digital formats. 5.Increasing the recognition of WIR and COSVITEC in local labor markets through transnational activities, as well as establishing collaborations with new organizations in the context of professional activation and career counseling for immigrants.
