Objectives

The partners wanted to increase the effectiveness of vocational education. In Eturia company, which cooperates on an ongoing basis with CKZ No. 1 in Kraków, this is done through the implementation of an innovative training program, modeled on the solution used by the foreign partner FAW AZZ. Transnational cooperation included the adaptation of solutions in the field of vocational training emphasizing robotics, automation and mechatronics. The project consisted in preparing a course program, training materials and guidelines for the implementation of Industry 4.0 training for everyone in Eturia's offer, as well as adapting the course in the FAW AZZ offer to constitute complementary training in the field of qualifications for the production area for people requiring retraining, including for women from Ukraine. The partners have jointly developed a training and development program that responds to the needs of employers evolving towards Industry 4.0. Upon completion of the course, graduates will gain forward-looking, practice-oriented knowledge of current technologies, understand the planning, construction, control and maintenance of complex, fully and partially automated and networked systems, and receive recognized certificates.

Activities

Partners participated in regular meetings during which the project's progress was monitored. There was a visit by 4 people substantive team of the Polish consortium of Eturia and CKZ in Zwickau. The 3-day visit was led by FAW AZZ with the participation of key experts. The foreign partner analyzed the data, including the materials developed after the study visit and prepared detailed recommendations for the new training program. The 10-day test training took place at the CKZ headquarters at Krupnicza St. Therefore, station sets were purchased. After testing the solution, FAW AZZ team assessed the condition and adaptation of the course and suggested possibilities for improvement. In addition, the Polish consortium team prepared recommendations for FAW AZZ regarding the aspects that should be included in the scope and method of conducting training aimed especially at war migrants from Ukraine. An online seminar was also held, to which guests were invited, among others: representatives of VET organizations and enterprises developing in the spirit of Industry 4.0 and 5.0. The course has been refined, also in accordance with the feedback received from the trained participants, and has become part of the regular training offer.

Impact

The product of cooperation with a transnational partner is new training, based on appropriately selected modules and training methods. Implementing the service into the offer will enable successful implementation of training for interested participants. FAW AZZ, in turn, when designing its educational projects, takes into account the methodological solutions proposed by Eturia and CKZ as it obtained guidelines on how to prepare refugees to enter the labor market. FAW AZZ runs a flagship course 'Get ready for Industry 4.0 technologies', the program of which became the basis for creating a product for the Polish side. The participants of the study visit learned firsthand what quality VET looks like. They, in turn, shared their knowledge about disadvantaged groups. They received certificates of participation in the study visit. Staff mobility increased the knowledge and motivation of participants and influenced the culture of the facilities and their competitiveness. Participation in the project allowed to promote European integration, intercultural awareness, openness to linguistic diversity, respect for different traditions and enriched the participants with knowledge about other countries.
