Inclusion for PWID in education, but also a regular life is very important for us. As we wrote before, PWID are the most discriminated group in the EU. This is why we have incorporated innovative tools and placed PWID at the centre of the intellectual output (IO) creation process—an approach that promotes inclusion. The process of creating stories, graphics, choosing topics, making music and making decisions in a democratic way by voting was the key. It gives PWID the right to decide that they are missing in regular life. Also, the tools were designed for the staff to show them that PWID can produce interesting and innovative educational tools. We also wanted to create an attractive tool for PWID and staff so they can speak/organise workshops about the topic that was important for authors. We believe that creating a multimedia e-book and printed book is a new, innovative way to do so.
