▶Objectives
During the project's realization, we developed and implemented comprehensive, innovative, and globally accessible tools to support teachers who deliver education in Polish at home and abroad. Key objectives included: 1. improvement of teachers' knowledge and competencies in: the neuronal basis of learning, methodology of working in a linguistically diverse environment, using of ICT tools and socio-natural competencies. 2. development of the competencies of teaching and research staff providing training and counselling. 3. preparation of a publication 'Pedagogical Innovations in Polish Education' (handbook available at RES). 4. creation of a website compatible with the publication's contents, containing educational materials: appendices to lesson plans, nature routes (maps) and plans (programmes) of educational paths and information on the course of the project. 5. provision of support for project participants and other educational institutions in Poland and abroad through training and content uploaded on the website. The objectives were achieved, a.o., by improving teachers' didactic, digital and socio-natural competencies and by including content and educational materials in the handbook and on the website.
▶Activities
The project was developed in response to specific needs arising from several years of cooperation between institutions (PL, ES, IT) and analysis of the challenges faced by them and their new partners (TR and IS). The key needs list covered: the development of teachers' competencies in the psycho-pedagogical aspects of working with children, the improvement of their digital and socio-natural skills, or counteracting the adverse impact of spending long periods in front of a computer by children (increased during distance learning). The project aimed to create innovative connections between the international partners' environments and enable the integration of theory and practice through the use of modern methods, teaching techniques, and ICT tools. It responded to the needs of schools' staff and students by creating a space to develop and test innovative educational solutions. The project resulted in products of high practical value, i.e. a publication, lesson plans, teaching materials and nature routes and educational paths, which can be used by partners and others (European Added Value). All results are uploaded within the RES on the project website and will remain available for min. 2 years after its completion (with updates).
▶Impact
