Summary

Objectives We want to empower youth workers and youth with new tools and methods to prevent and tackle cyberbullying from a gender approach. To this end, we have formulated the following specific objectives: PO1 Share knowledge and learn from members’ experience in dealing with cyberbullying in youth associations PO2 Draw a gender-sensitive method to tackle cyberbullying among young people PO3 Empower youth workers and young people with soft skills, the new method and its tools to counteract cyberbullying Activities -2 participatory visits (Poland, Italy) to share our experience in cyberbullying and youth. -WETO development to tackle cyberbullying through a gender approach, documented in an interactive book. -A training course in Spain to test the new gender-sensitive WETO method and tools to prevent and respond to cyberbullying. -Multiplier events in Poland, Italy and Spain. -Internal workshops, consultation period and dissemination campaign to increase the project’s scope. Impact Youth and youth workers will develop their capacities to prevent and counteract cyberbullying. They will acquire new tools and methods that will help them recognize this behaviour and act accordingly. They will learn how to protect themselves online. Youth workers will be able to raise awareness, provide youth with online protection guidelines, detect cases and efficiently plan for intervention, addressing the needs of victims and reconducting bully behaviour in perpetrators.
