Objectives

The GreenTech project was designed to address environmental issues such as sustainability, regeneration, and biodiversity, empowering citizens and organizations and promoting behavioral changes regarding consumption and lifestyle. The goal was to create an international and intersectoral partnership aimed at providing participants with knowledge and skills in new technologies for the environment and in citizen science. The focus was to integrate the knowledge between an environmental association in Portugal (ECO) and a technology company in Italy (ZK), from a perspective of sustainability and effective active citizenship. The specific objectives of the project were: to provide high-quality educational activities on technology for biodiversity and sustainability; to learn about and incorporate digital tools for environmental sustainability into educational activities; to contribute to participants interacting and promoting active digital citizenship in favor of the environment; to develop digital skills for innovation in different areas of environmental intervention; and to promote equality of access and inclusion, encouraging the acquisition of digital skills and prioritizing refugee students.
