Objectives

Through the implementation of this project, we set the following objectives: 1. Raise awareness among parents about the importance of girls practicing sports, highlighting the benefits for their physical and personal development. 2. Support the character development of girls** who play football by combining sports with the use of new technologies, fostering resilience and growth. 3. Educate parents** on how to actively support their daughters’ progress in sports, both on and off the field. 4. Establish a partnership with PMFC - Labdarúgó to advance the development of women’s football through shared experiences and best practices. 5. Change parental attitudes** toward girls playing football, encouraging greater acceptance and support, and increase the number of parents attending matches. 6. Boost parental involvement** in club activities, aiming to grow participation from 10% to 60%. These objectives focused on promoting gender equality in sports, improving support systems for girls in football, and fostering long-term development in women’s football.

Impact

The project yielded significant and measurable outcomes, contributing to the development of women’s football and the promotion of gender equality in sports: 1. Increased parental engagement: Over 60% of parents from partner clubs actively participated in matches, compared to just 10% before the project. More than 200 parents attended matches and events, showing a remarkable shift in support for girls' football. 2. Broader participation: A total of 250 girls were directly involved in the project, representing two partner clubs and demonstrating the growing interest in women’s football. 3. Extensive collaboration: The project involved over 30 coaches and 20 specialists in psychology, nutrition, physical preparation, and coaching, who were invited to deliver sessions and presentations during the conferences. 4. Innovative initiatives: As the first project of its kind in Romania and Hungary, it set a precedent for promoting women’s football through cross-border collaboration and innovative methodologies. 5.
