Objectives

The objectives to be achieved following the implementation of this project were: - developing the capacity of the teachers from the organizations involved in the project to design and apply modern STEAM teaching strategies, with topics inspired by children's books; - developing the capacity of preschoolers from the groups of teachers participating in the project, aged between 3 and 6 years, from the three partner institutions, to identify creative and practical STEAM solutions to problems inspired by children's stories; - developing the interest in reading of the preschoolers participating in the project through integrated STEAM activities; - developing the skills of the teachers involved in the project to interact with their colleagues from the partner countries, both directly and through digital technology; - developing the capacity of the three partner institutions to collaborate at the international level.

Activities

The main project activities were: - Project Management - Teachers Mobility to Greece - Teachers Mobility to Turkey - Learning and Teaching Activities - Teachers Mobility to Romania

Impact

The project results were both tangible and nontangible : - "STEAM in the Library" Padlet pages with over a 100 opened educational resources for preschool teachers, available in four languages - English, Romanian, Greek and Turkish - project website with description and pictures of the main activities and project results - teachers' and children's enhanced capabilities in STEAM strategies and improved early literacy - the possibility of long-term partnership between the involved organization - increased level of experience and motivation to upcoming E+ projects for the partner organizations - positive attitudes of trust and openness towards cultural values, practices and educational models observed in the partner countries - increased capacity to cooperate internationally of the participating institutions - expanded teachers` experience in international collaboration - increased attractivity of the institution among the parents
