ā¶Objectives
By implementing the CTIS project, we aimed to achieve the following: ⢠Promoting innovative teaching practices: The project sought to stimulate the use of flipped classroom methods in higher education to teach critical media literacy, addressing challenges in creating and using such materials. ⢠Developing comprehensive educational resources: We intended to create open-source digital materials for an entire course in critical media literacy, including videos, pre- and post-tests, and classroom activities, available in seven European languages. ⢠Enhancing transversal skills: The project aimed to jointly develop critical thinking and media literacy skills, which are essential for navigating the information society. ⢠Supporti digital transformation: By creating digital educational materials and fostering their use, the project aligned with EU priorities like the Digital Education Action Plan. ⢠Increasi accessibility and collaboration: The multilingual nature of the resources ensured broader accessibility, while collaboration among institutions addressed the resource-intensive nature of flipped classroom design. ⢠Raisi awareness and adoption: We aimed to increase awareness among educators about the availability of these resources.
