โ–ถObjectives

We want to make it easier for our students to speak a foreign language and integrate a foreign language into everyday life. In doing so, we also aim to increase their digital skills by enabling them to use various WEB2 tools. We want to improve our students' language skills by providing them with activities related to their individual field. We aim to remove the stress, fear, shyness and prejudice experienced by students in language learning, to change their perspectives in this field, to show that the process of learning foreign languages โ€‹โ€‹can be fun, like cultural heritage and environmental education is a must and let's make them learn with pleasure. We have many disadvantaged students in our schools. By including these students in this project, we intend to integrate them into society and school by increasing their degree of socialization and 21st century skills. We will also bring our teachers together with their European counterparts to exchange best practices. We would like to increase their professional competence by conducting various discussions about e-learning, methods, preparation of materials with WEB2 tools.

โ–ถActivities

Following the mobilities, according to the work packages and the exchange of good practices, we implemented the following activities: -The online environment and climate platform- RED is innovative in that it includes different learning methods. (interactive video, digital tools, engaging images, quizzes, games) -Dramatic method/Artistic use-the use of this method allowed students to use English properly in real conversations, to express their feelings and ideas. The active participation required in a dramatic method involves not only the intelligence but also the imagination and emotions of the students. -The gamification method- allowed students to interact with the content and practice new information through play. -Digital applications and Web2 tools- I learned and used digital applications in teaching and learning foreign languages, creating project activities and course materials using Kahoot, Quizlet, Versuri, Training, Canva, Storybird. -e-Learning- By integrating information and communication technologies in the process of teaching foreign languages, we explore websites, e-books, e-news, e-newspapers, etc. with English taught.

โ–ถImpact

The concrete results that we wanted to produce within these objectives, over a period of 2 years, are the following: 1. Increasing the level of knowledge of the English language for the 4 students/mobility who participate in the project from each school at the B2 level. 2. Creating awareness of the negative effects of environmental and climate changes on material cultural heritage, ensuring sustainability by creating an educational platform. 3.5% of our students with fewer opportunities were integrated into a social and school learning environment, and school dropouts will be reduced by 5%. 4. Improving design skills using technology, e-learning and web 2.0 methods, for teachers and students participating in the project. The team from: Turkey made a digital photo album entitled 'Different Colors', Spain 'Map of Cultural Heritage', Italy made the documentary called 'Our Story', Romania made a digital brochure 'I am Learning a Foreign Language by Doing- Living' and the article 'Language Learning with Experiences'. The project's activities materialized in an 'Online Environment and Climate Change Platform' work platform, on the eTwinning portal and project site.
