SPIRITUALIST project`s partners focused on: introducing the concept of hydroponic agriculture to school educators, raising awareness regarding hydroponic agriculture among teachers, students, parents, teaching the target groups in order to be the transmitters for a new way of plants cultivation, which can be done whatever the season, for ensuring a sustainable food suply and natural resourses. It is well known that lack of knowledge and skilled labor are the biggest obstacles to the development of this cultivation method. Thus, SPIRITUALIST promotes education in the field of hydroponic agriculture, providing better trained graduates and makes education in this field accessible and easy to use. Aware of the crucial role teachers play in shaping the students skills, partners aimed to inform and educate, first of all, the educators, by designing a useful training materials about hydroponic agriculture. The introduction of hydroponic agriculture concept in class and the organization of the electiv course was another main objective of SPIRITUALIST, so that the skills and knowledge acquired by the teachers will be passed to their students. Partners aimed that SPIRITUALIST will impact the whole comunity, not only the schools.
