Objectives

Our objectives were: - developing and piloting a programme for supporting students with learning disadvantages and fewer opportunities in terms of their gaining basic skills and achieving learning, personal and social goals within school environments - improving the educators' competences to provide support to children with learning disadvantages and fewer opportunities and prevent early school leaving by helping them handle their learning and behavioral challenges at school - raising the students' resilience and helping them have a proactive approach to learning and behavioral challenges. - raising participants' awareness of the learning outcomes in the cross-border learning mobilities

Activities

Kick off phase Project Coordination - online kickoff event and coordination meetings in every implementation phase to review progress, with additional sessions as needed to address emerging issues. Piloting DO2GET training in Serbia - international teacher traning: 5 online modules and 1in person trainig during the mobility in Serbia (2 teachers and 4 students, 15-19 October, 2023). Serbia: 2 camps for students and teachers (august 2023), Portugal: experiences from Serbia shared in Portugal school through mentors' meetings (november - december 2023). DO2GET programme testing - University experts developed an assessment tool to evaluate DO2GET program in partner schools. It measures program impact on academic success, attitude, and engagement. 83 students and 25 mentors implemented techniques over six months, mobility in Portugal (25- 29 March, 2024, 4 teachers and 8 students). DO2GET programme finalization - online meetings on analyzing DO2GET program implementation and finalizing the Guidebook. DO2GET dissemination - project website, presentations at the Student Council, Teachers' Council, School Board, DO2GET international conference Concluding phase - online panel where the project results are presented

Impact

Online and in vivo teacher mentors' training was developed and implemented for 25 teachers from partners' schools. The DO2GET Guidebook and Student's Progress Check are created and used by students and teachers. 25 teachers (15 from Portugal school and 10 from Serbian school) implemented the DO2GET program as students' mentors. 83 students (40 form Portugal and 43 from Serbian school) participated in the DO2GET program - received mentoring support, and used the DO2GET Guidebook. 2 international and 2 local mobility activities organized to train mentors and exchange the experiences in the DO2GET program implementation. DO2GET programme assesed by UL experts that evaluated the influence of DO2GET program on students’ academic success, engagement, motivation, resilience, and proactivity within the school environment and recommendations for the improvement and further development of the DO2GET program is made. Project resultes and outcomes are presented on the project website, published partners social media, in schools magazines and on the international conference organized in August 2024 i Knjaževac, Serbia
