▶Objectives
To help the SEN students to: -inclued in Erasmus+ projects -return to theire countries with self-confindence, good memories and developed socially and emotially. -the feeling that being disable is not a hindrance -the perspective of both countries towards SEN students would be evaluated and good aspects and efficient practices would be taken as an examples.
▶Activities
Turkish delegation arrived on the 7th of may. Dinner with the swedish delegation. Monday 8th: welcome cermony with all the swedish SEN student and SEN teachers at the school school tour, riding SEN bikes, swedisg "fika" and dinner together in school Tuesday 9th: city tour by feet, hometraining info for SEN teachers from the swedish SEN team to the turkish teachers, the students had math lesson with the swedish SEN students at the same time, dinner together Wednesday 10th: english class (how we teach SEN students) with students and teachers, visiting LSS operation for SEN people after graduated school, dinner at an restaurant in the city with students and teachers Thursday 11th: Gymnastic at school - inside and outdoors program planned by our physical education teacher for SEN students, guided tour at the cultural and historical museum in the city of Lund, all the students together made taco dinner för the teachers Friday 12th: Outdoor day at Skrylle (national park) went there by a rented bus, we also rented a cabin in the park with toilet and BBQ space for lunch, farwell dinner at a restaurant in Malmo Saturday 13th: leaving day
▶Impact
Students: Curage and developed the english language and socializing with each other. Also work together as a team and met the turkish students with love and respect thoug socio-economic differences. Took theire hosting very seriously and emparticipated in everything even after school hours. Teachers: The teachers had an exchange regarding teaching methods current laws in Sweden and the differences between the countries. A couple of parents were invited to give their perspective on how the school and community provide support for their youth with intellectual disabilities.
