Through project activities, we wanted to provide appropriate training for Slovenian GLOBE teachers and their students. Our main goal was therefore teachers equipped with appropriate knowledge, who learned how to perform measurements correctly and who have already begun to expand their knowledge further. Among the goals of the project were appropriately qualified students who, under the guidance of teachers, carried out measurements, prepared research assignments, video guides, participated in GLOBE games and, through their achievements, inspired the rest of their peers for GLOBE. Among the goals of the project were also written, video and photo products. Each participating institution recorded one video guide for the chosen protocol (which will further serve as a help to newcomers to the project, as we realize that it is easier to tackle such matters if you can observe the progress of the measurement than if you just read the instructions). The video guides are freely available and will be presented at the beginning of each school year to the schools that will implement the GLOBE program (we will continue to update the guides). In order for the project to run smoothly, the project partners met at the beginning and carefully planned all the planned activities and created guidance and educational materials, which later served to help the participating teachers and students. During the project, we held practical-educational workshops (mobility of teachers and students) at both partner schools in Croatia (in Zadar and Omiš), where Croatian teachers and students presented selected protocols in theory and measurements through practical activities in the field. We held the first GLOBE event in Slovenia (GLOBE Games), where participating institutions presented their research tasks and participated in the GLOBE run, where they tested their knowledge in various tasks, teachers presented examples of good practices, and at the final event we analyzed the entire of the project and set guidelines for the continuation of the activities. Throughout the entire duration of the project, the students, under the guidance of teachers, carried out measurements, prepared video guides and wrote a research paper. The greatest result is certainly the knowledge acquired by the teachers and students who directly participated in the project and were able to concretely connect them with environmental topics and the goals of sustainable development. They transferred this knowledge to their work and spread it to others who were not directly involved in the project. With this, they "made sure" the visibility of the GLOBE program itself, and it is a great achievement that interest in it began to grow (by the end of the 2023/24 school year, 20 new schools joined). Among the concrete products, I can count the created video guides and students' research assignments, as well as examples of teachers' good practices. Both (teachers and students) gained new contacts/acquaintances during the mobilities, deepened their knowledge also in the cultural and linguistic fields (the children understand and speak Croatian very poorly, so part of the activity was also held in English, since the entire website and the GLOBE database works in English). GLOBE coaches from both Croatian schools have enriched their portfolio and brought their knowledge to the international level.
