The aim of the PREVENTIVE MEASURES was to improve children's cognitive skills and reduce aggressive behaviour. We wanted to develop CRITICAL THINKING SKILLS between teachers and pupils and encourage COOPERATION in problem solving. We taught the participants how to RECOGNISE early signs of aggression and violence and developed STRATEGIES to manage and prevent violent behaviour. We wanted to create a SUPPORTIVE SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT and use new INFORMATION TOOLS to address violence, develop a positive website, blog and online applications. Through the implementation of the project we wanted to increase the QUALITY OF EDUCATION (T: more effective classroom management) and to integrate PREVENTIVE and POSITIVE PRACTICES in the daily school activities. Through INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION, the acquisition of shared knowledge, resources and skills through collaboration with partners and exposure to different practices and cultures, we aimed to achieve a SUSTAINABLE EFFECT in the sense of equipping participants with valuable life skills and stimulating their personal and professional growth. To increase parental involvement and confidence in dealing with their children's behaviour and to raise awareness in the local community.

During the project, a number of activities were carried out to achieve the main deliverables, i.e. the manuals "Causes of aggression, ways of dealing with it and regulating educational environments", "Coping with stress, anxiety and fears" and "Solutions to prevent aggression and violence in students with special needs". These were basically different prevention and proactive activities in schools, adapted to the developmental level of our main target group, i.e. pupils (4-11 years old), intensive cooperation between school professionals, parents and exchange of good practices between partners (mobility). We created a project website (https://ourschoolhaslovenoviolence.splet.arnes.si/), a project Facebook profile (https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100090389418197), an eTwinning project profile, a project YouTube channel with several videos (https://www.youtube.com/@ourschoolhaslovenoviolence), a blog (https://ourschoolhaslovenoviolence.splet.arnes.si/blog/), prepared a lot of additional support material and forms and a didactic game (https://ourschoolhaslovenoviolence.splet.arnes.si/additional-material/), carried out training and dissemination events, and promoted the project to the wider public.

Our project has produced concrete results and cues and has contributed to the development of the organisations involved: 1. Participants have developed critical thinking skills and improved their ability to work together to solve problems. 2. POSITIVE APPLICATIONS: The project led to the development of positive online formats (blog and website) to be used by the schools involved. 3. A SUPPORT SYSTEM: A support system for schools was put in place, which was useful for teachers, students and parents even after the project was completed. 4. RECOGNISING AND RESPONDING TO BEHAVIOR: Participants learned how to recognise aggressive behaviour and put in place procedures and mechanisms to respond to it. 5. NEW PERSPECTIVES: Working with international partners helped participants to gain shared knowledge, resources and skills. 6. INNOVATIVE APPROACHES: Participants gained experience in applying innovative approaches and practices they observed in partner schools. This included the integration of prevention and positive practices into daily school activities.
