โถObjectives
The project general objective was to contribute to the environment and climate change mitigation through increased production and consumption of plant-based food as it has been proven in many researches that plat-based food is more environmentally friendly than conventional food based on meat and milk, due to lower greenhouse gas emissions, less impact on biodiversity and use of land and water for food production. To achieve this broad goal, the project aimed to promote plant-based agriculture and consumption through in-depth research on existing promotional strategies and life-long learning opportunities at local, national and EU level, the learning methodology and innovative toolkit based on 5 topics and visual media - comics, the training course for adult educators, trainers, agricultural consultants and lecturers at agricultural schools who work either with producers or consumers in formal or informal education and the e-learning platform with open access either for trainers or individual learners.
