Objectives

The project's main objective was to identify, assess, and support the development of key competences critical for the evolving automotive industry. We aimed to bridge the skills gap by focusing on competences such as critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability—skills essential for employees to thrive in a rapidly changing, technology-driven environment as it was apparent from the research which was done in the beginning in the project. By implementing the project, we sought to develop innovative methods and tools for assessing and certifying these competences, thus ensuring that vocational education and training (VET) programs are aligned with industry needs. Another key goal was to provide educators and industry professionals with robust tools for evaluating key competencies. Ultimately, we aimed to enhance the employability of workers in the sector and contribute to the broader goal of improving the quality and relevance of VET programs in Europe.
