▶Objectives
The aim of our project proposal was to contribute to the spread of Smart Agriculture/Agriculture 4.0 and thus to environmental sustainability in cooperation with EU partners. With this project, raising awareness of smart agriculture at European level gave us a vision in adult education. It was planned to gain a new learning and teaching approach in the training given by our institution to adult farmers.
▶Activities
- The pre-mobility online opening meeting was held, - The programme of events was organised by our institution in Turkey, - The programme of events was organised by AKETH in Greece, - The programme of events was organised by the Hungarian Knowledge Foundation in Hungary, - The training session for the staff and the board of the Chamber of Agriculture was held, - Training sessions for our staff working in our Directorate on project achievements were held. - Farmers' meetings were held in 16 counties with intensive agriculture. - A technical visit to the Söke Agricultural Production Enterprise Agricultural Extension and In-Service Training Center Directorate was organised with the participation of farmers to study intelligent irrigation techniques. There were 16 participants in this technical tour. - A results sharing meeting was held in our district.
▶Impact
- Steps have been taken to establish forward-looking collaborative partnerships. - Our institutional staff have been trained in smart agriculture. - NGO staff have been informed and trained on the use of technology in agriculture. Farmers have been taught how to access information on Smart Agriculture. - Farmers have been trained in smart agriculture. - Good examples of Smart Agriculture practices in EU countries have been promoted in our country.
