Objectives

The objectives of the project were mostly achieved. These objectives are: - Contribute to the development of the youth excluded from society due to physical, social, economic, geographical barriers and unemployment, and who need social inclusion; in technology, sports, culture and many other fields, - Contribute to their cultural identity in the European and EU dimensions. - Add a new education model to the curriculum with our partners. - Make young people love nature and sports, along with technology education, and ensure that this will be widespread.

Activities

In this project, among many other activities, 4 main activities listed below were carried out. - An initial meeting was held in the coordinator country. - Online training in orienteering and coding was held with all partner country participants. - All partner institutions organized an Orienteering & Coding competition for their students in their countries and determined the top 3 students in this competition. - A joint Orienteering & Coding competition hosted by Portugal was held among the students who were successful in the Orienteering & Coding competition in the partner countries.

Impact

The concrete outcomes of our project were as follows. -A new, more interactive training methodology has been developed for vocational education with nature sports. -By bringing orienteering and coding together, a new educational model was introduced to vocational education. -By moving education from the traditional classroom environment to nature, young people's nature awareness was developed. -Generation Z, which has become addicted to technological devices, was enabled to participate in sports activities. Less technology addiction contributed to them doing more sports. -Some studies have been initiated to include the new education model in the curriculum.
