▶Summary
Objectives To develop intercultural sensitivity of preservice teachers through children's picture books on migration. Accordingly, we aim • To raise awareness on migration, by interactive read aloud practices, • To provide a new way and perspective for the social integration of migrants and thus to serve social cohesion. • Contribute in developing a pluralistic perspective on intercultural sensitivity, struggles for groups excluded and make multicultural education approach more widespread Activities • Organizing online trainings on intercultural sensitivity, children's picture books on migration and interactive read aloud, • Conducting workshops covering interactive read aloud practices, • Creating 15 original children's picture books on migration • To carry out workshops covering interactive read aloud practices for the created original children's picture books on migration, • Assessments regarding the practices made in the project.
