▶Summary
The need for children with disabilities to continue their education at home and to benefit from new technology and digital education opportunities in schools and centers was expressed during institution visits. Among disabled individuals, students diagnosed with autism spectrum have been determined as the target audience of the project because they have the most comprehensive and diverse disability characteristics. The ELSUPPORT project particularly aims to prepare a web portal called e-Platform that will meet the e-learning needs of students with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). In Türkiye, there are special education and rehabilitation centers (SERCs) that aims to support the children with disability for inclusive education into the schools. Those centres are granted by Directorate General of Private Education Institutions (DGPEI), as one of main directorates of Ministry of National Education (MoNE) in fixed amounts per child with special education needs. In order to improve the education and increase effective learning by teachers and ensure the parent participation to trainings, the project was initiated as an innovative works.
▶Objectives
Three main objectives have been achieved by the project; one is an interactive sharing platform that is infrastructure online learning and teaching activities which can be conducted by teachers and parents. The second is digital contents, e-learning tools and digital education materials (eLearning activities) for students with autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The third is teacher training and parents training results as pilot implementation for the eLearning platforms to give them support trainings to the students with autism. For those purposes, experienced partners on autism and high capability experts who worked on development of software and web base portals were chosen. Digital education materials (eLearning activities) for the autistic students were developed according to the individual learning plan in the context of attainments of support education programs. ePlatform (elsupport.org) provide the to the teacher (or any user) to create their eLearning activity within the website for their students with ASD. Parents and teacher can use or conduct the digital activities to the students with ASD or any disables that created all users of the platforms. The platform for the digital education materials are available in 7 languages

Regarding to the results of the projects, some main activities of the Project are mentioned below. - Developed Need analysis for the target groups - Carried out current situation analysis - Prepared and translated the Current Situation and Need Analysis Report For E-Platform - Designed a web portal as called ePlatform (elsupport.org) for producing and sharing eLearning activities - Developed nine (9) e-learning tools in three (3) groups - Determined and defined 8 learning-teaching categories (modules) in ePlatform - Prepared digital material pools (list of elements) in 52 categories such as vehicles, jobs, animals,…etc - Created 64 eLearning activites, text with activity template and 64 eLearning activities (digital education materials) - Prepared Parents Guideline. - Prepared Teachers’ Manual - Prepared pilot implementation plan and conducted pilot trainings for the teachers and parents - Prepared pilot report and conducted assessment grid for the ePlatform (elsupport.org),
