▶Objectives
The main objectives we hoped to achieve with this project are as follows: 1.- Work on the three horizontal European priorities in our schools: HORIZONTAL: Environment and fight against climate change. HORIZONTAL: Inclusion and diversity in all fields of education, training, youth and sport. HORIZONTAL: Addressing digital transformation through development of digital readiness, resilience and capacity. 2.- Work on the following specific objectives of the project: • Awareness : To help our students to become more sensitive and aware of the environment in general and related issues. • Knowledge: Develop linguistic and cultural knowledge to acquire a basic understanding of the environment as a whole and related problems as well as the presence and role of humankind in its environment. • Attitudes: To help our students acquire social values and a profound interest in the environment, which encourages them to actively participate in its protection and improvement. • Skills: To help our students acquire the necessary skills to solve environmental problems.
▶Activities
Activities have been carried out as planned. The objectives, characteristics and methodology of each activity have been strictly respected. They have simply been implemented: -improving documentation. -improving communication with the agents involved. -Improving the evaluation criteria and the impact of each activity.
▶Impact
1.-Result 1: Magazine in paper and pdf format. 2.-Result 2: Project web page with all the works carried out by the pupils. 3.-Result 3: The pupils of both schools have presented their work based on the main environmental characteristics of their living environment. The work has been done in a cooperative way in both schools. 4.-Result 4: Pupils from Ponteareas visited the European School in Brussels and vice versa. The face-to-face meetings have enriched the educational experience and the development of the project. Both schools have been involved in the environmental projects of the schools. European experts in environmental education will be welcomed. 5.-Result 5: Weekly meetings via Teams between the schools and project website of the project. 6.-Result 6: Study, visit and work with the European institutions in Brussels. 7.-Result 7: Participation with the Spanish Education Counsellor in Brussels, Ponteareas City Council and international organizations. 8-Result 8: The Belgian Way of St. James has been done.
