โถObjectives
This project addressed the various developments observed by stakeholders in the Personal Services sector. In a changing environment, these actors highlighted cultural changes, environmental issues, and the increase in domestic violence. These three elements had led to an evolution in the SAP profession, requiring specialized skills. This project was distinguished by its innovative nature, as it addressed needs clearly identified by European institutions as essential for the revalorization of these professions. It aimed to develop a guide of experiences necessary for the valorization and recognition of professions in the European space, to promote the development of new skills for these professions, and to propose methods to gradually change the perceptions that professionals and the public had of these professions. Strengthening workers' skills contributed to improving the employability of European citizens, in line with the recommendations of the European Commission in its action plan on the European Pillar of Social Rights.
โถActivities
Initially, the partners identified the experiences specific to their training in these three themes and collected information on the state of these experiences in their respective countries. They thus established a mapping of experiences and the differences between them. In parallel, they evaluated the added value of each training to define the axes of the modules to be created. Their research also included an analysis of the legislative frameworks related to the SAP sector. The partners selected focus groups within their network to participate in the activity of developing and validating a reference framework and methodology for creating the various training units. Based on the developed guide of experiences, the partners created training models on ecological practices, multiculturalism, and managing domestic violence. Each module was subdivided into defined sequences, which were then tested locally to evaluate their relevance. The dissemination and valorization phase of the productions included the creation of a dedicated website and the development of communication strategies. โถImpact
The project aimed to share the best practices and experiences of member states in the Personal Services sector (SAP), focusing on skills, methodologies, and the organization of activities. It included identifying appropriate training programs, current regulations, and public actions to professionalize SAP. Communication strategies were also developed for different audiences. The project involved evaluating the transfer of experiences between member states, conducting information and training sessions to develop a methodological tool, and creating a summary guide of experiences in the three defined areas for each partner country. A common methodology was to be validated, training modules were to be developed, and skills were to be strengthened to meet the needs of the SAP sector. The expected outcomes included disseminating the project's productions, enhancing the value of the professions in the sector, and achieving visibility at different levels. Communication materials were to be created, and training units were to be established.
