▶Objectives
By implementing the project’s activities, we aimed to create an innovative educational toolkit aimed specifically at adults with low levels of skills, knowledge and competences in dealing with the mental and health issues caused by COVID and the war in Ukraine that can be easily applied in everyday situations. We also wanted to increase the capacity among partner organizations to increase their expertise in working in international context across sectors while addressing the issues of mental and physical health. Several guides were created as a direct result of the project activities: 1. Specially designed guidelines for crises responsive attitude; 2. Introduction to activities in case of emergency situations; 3. Recovery of the working productivity; 4. Dealing with anxiety; 5. Self-defense in an aggressive attack. The guides are all uploaded on the digital platform created specifically for the project providing an easy to access for global citizens. The project addressed the Erasmus+ priority of addressing the digital transformation through the development of digital technologies in adult education and developing digital skills through the platform.
▶Activities
The first activity implemented was the project management activities, which included: coordination activities, communication, administrative and financial procedures, quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation. We established clear communication between the Project and the Agency officers. A quality assurance plan, monitoring and evaluation plan were set among the partners. The second activity that was carried out during the project was the essence of the ASM project – creating the Stress Management Strategy which consisted of five guides and a digital platform that addressed the mental and physical issues in adults resulting from COVID-19 pandemic and the war in Ukraine, including a platform where good practices were made easily accessible and for free in raising awareness of the issues adults are facing on a global scale. The third main activity of the project was implementing the dissemination strategy through a media campaign using the existing communication channels of the organizations and their networks. Additionally, six multiplier events were held in 2023 in each of the partnering countries that aimed to raise awareness of the mental and physical health. https://adultstressmanagementproject.eu/index.php/en/
