HerbVenture - Green Hub for Young Entrepreneurs

Objectives The main long-term objectives that we are aiming to achieve with HerbVenture are increased youth participation in society, fostering entrepreneurial values in them, decreasing misinformation about natural medicine and the industry, including traditional herb remedies, increasing dissemination of the real medicinal health properties of herbs, and increasing local, national and international conservation efforts of their environments. We aim to increase the use of natural medicine properly. Activities We have three tangible outputs: - Digital Edition Encyclopaedia of Herbs - Online platform incorporating herb locations, weather maps, and zones with additional information for each - Handbook on Traditional Medicine Literacy and Conservation Additionally, we have integrated three training activities into the project: - Local workshops with expert herbalists and academics with live examples and fieldwork - Mobility activity with entrepreneurs in a rural area - Online entrepreneurial training Impact The main results and outcomes we expect to see are: - Increased civic participation of youth from disadvantaged rural areas in natural medicine; - Better future measures for prevention in climate change; - Increase in development, and entrepreneurship of youth of rural areas; - Heightened awareness and knowledge of young people about green practices; - Higher focus on preventive natural medicine; - Enhanced youth knowledge in the generational traditional medicinal skill field.
