Objectives

The project aimed to educate at least nine NEETs and farmers to enhance their sustainable farming techniques and develop basic entrepreneurship skills through professional formal and informal training. This initiative enabled the target groups to improve their employability prospects while providing existing farmers with additional tools to develop their agri-businesses. The project's activities promoted inclusiveness and inspired individuals to view agriculture as a sustainable employment choice, both environmentally and financially. The project also sought to create a novel training program and a tool/handbook in OER form for the target groups, focusing on the aforementioned fields of interest. The training was customized to meet the specific requirements and needs of the participants, developing essential green, digital, and entrepreneurship skills. This approach contributed to the project's sectorial and horizontal priorities. Moreover, the project encouraged NEETs and farmers to adopt a new mindset regarding agriculture by offering farming skills and basic business expertise. Good practice approaches were gathered and shared among the participants, helping them understand the practicality and viability of the training.
