โ–ถSummary

The objectives and identified needs for each activity in the application are summarized as follows: Activity 1: Standards and E-Learning Objectives focused on enhancing educational programs by updating training methods with innovative technologies, inspired by practices from the German Standards Organisation DKE-VDE. The need arose from the necessity to integrate advanced digital solutions into CYS's learning activities and update training programs. Activity 2: Digital Standards Objectives included learning about the digitalization processes at DKE-VDE and digital standards and developing a plan for CYS's digital transformation. The activity addressed the need for a structured approach to digital standards and updating processes to align with current technological advancements. Activity 3: E-Mentoring This activity aimed to develop a plan for e-mentoring tool by understanding the existing program at DKE-VDE. It responded to the need for a structured method of knowledge transfer between new and existing experts. Activity 4:CYS Next Generation The objective was to engage younger professionals in standardization, addressing the challenge of their limited involvement and thereby enhancing the significance of professional development.

The objectives for implementing the project were: To prepare the national standardization organization for a comprehensive digital transformation, ensuring alignment with international practices as dictated by the new European Strategy for Standardisation. To improve and modernize educational programs by integrating innovative digital tools and methods, drawing from the advanced practices of the German Standards Organisation (DKE-VDE). To acquire knowledge and the resources needed for the development of digital and smart standards and to explore the path for the development of standardization process in a digital way. To learn and develop a plan for the implementation of an e-mentoring tool that would support the training and integration of new experts into the field of standardization, enhancing knowledge transfer and professional development. To attract younger professionals to the field of standardization, focusing on their active involvement and representation in shaping future standardization practices. These objectives aimed to address specific gaps in digital readiness, educational methods, and expert engagement, thereby fostering a sustainable, innovative, and technologically advanced standardization environment.
