▶Objectives
The project partners from Germany, Bulgaria, Greece, Serbia, Spain and Hungary aimed in the long run to keep Roma music for coming generations and to preserve it as a part of the European cultural heritage. For that, ROMusicA should create the pre-conditions.
▶Activities
Project activities were: 1. Situation and Need Analysis with involvement of Roma musicians and experts 2. Workshops of Ideas with involvement of Roma, Roma women and Roma musicians 3. Designing of the concept for a follow-up project (ERASMUS+, KA2) with which the detected needs shall be covered.
▶Impact
Apart from the comprehensive concept for the follow-up project, during the project a brochure for distributing information and a collection of more than 150 Roma songs for which no notation exists at the moment, were established.
