▶Activities
With V.IN.E we have addressed the need for inclusive vocational training for people with so-called intellectual disabilities in Germany and Turkey. The aim is to strengthen the capacities of the partner municipalities Şişli and Tepebaşı through knowledge transfer and innovative resources, to promote social inclusion and to create sustainable structures. In Turkey, there is a lack of state offers for the vocational training of people with disabilities. Municipal initiatives, such as those of our partners, are to be supplemented and professionalized by V.IN.E. Also in Germany, the successful integration of those entitled to a workshop into the general labor market is still rare and requires innovative approaches. V.IN.E aims to strengthen inclusive educational offers, overcome structural barriers and support people with disabilities in their career orientation through innovative instruments such as the MYS toolbox. The exchange between the two countries creates a platform through the German-Turkish dialogue to share best practices and establish new perspectives in inclusive vocational training. The aim is to create long-term structures that sustainably improve professional participation.
