With GREEN ACTS!, we aimed to educate students about climate change, sustainability, and responsible consumption while actively engaging them in hands-on environmental actions. Our key objectives were to increase awareness of climate issues, integrate sustainability into the curriculum, and encourage students, teachers, and communities to take action. Through this project, we wanted to develop a Teacher’s Climate Guide to support climate education across subjects, create digital and physical resources like eco-calendars and recycled materials exhibitions, and establish initiatives such as tree planting, energy-saving programs, and biodiversity conservation efforts. Additionally, we sought to enhance students' digital skills through the use of web tools for environmental projects. By fostering international collaboration, we aimed to exchange best practices and inspire long-term environmental responsibility, ensuring that students and educators become active agents of change in their communities.

During GREEN ACTS!, we implemented a variety of activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness, digital learning, and student engagement. Four short-term Learning, Teaching and Training Activities (LTTAs) were held in the Netherlands, Spain, Turkey, and Germany, each focusing on themes such as sustainability, biodiversity, climate action, and digital tools. These included workshops, expert-led seminars, cultural visits, and hands-on environmental actions like tree planting and clean-up events. We developed the Teacher’s Climate Guide, organised recycling and biodiversity projects, created digital outputs such as eco-calendars, e-magazines, videos, and posters, and used Web 2.0 tools to enhance learning. Student-led EcoTeens clubs were established at each school to ensure ongoing environmental engagement. All activities involved teachers, students, parents, and local communities, contributing to the project’s long-term impact.

GREEN ACTS! produced a variety of concrete outputs aligned with its objectives in environmental education, digital skills, and student engagement. Key results include the Teacher’s Climate Guide, offering lesson plans and interdisciplinary activities for integrating climate education into school curricula. The E-Guide to Web 2.0 Tools and the E-Guide to TwinSpace supported digital collaboration and ICT competence. Students created an Environmental Awareness Calendar and a digital E-Magazine to promote sustainability. Each partner hosted one LTTA (C1–C4), with documented programs, certificates of attendance, and a compiled evaluation report summarizing participant feedback. The project maintained active online dissemination through a website, TwinSpace, and social media. A TEMA certificate confirmed external cooperation in local environmental actions. All results were uploaded to the Beneficiary Module and are openly accessible, ensuring continued use beyond the project’s duration.
