Impact

The educational professionals from the participating daycare centres exchanged information on good daycare centre practice throughout the entire project period with a focus on the topic of participation as a children's right. The exchange took place both digitally and analogue on the work shadowing trips. The ‘children's perspectives approach’ (https://kurzlinks.de/r18i) and the ‘mosaic approach’ (https://kindergarten-apenrade.dk/tma-deutsch/) were discussed. The professionals were able to learn about each other's approaches and inspire each other. The children from the participating centres sent each other an introduction video and got to know each other through several digital meetings and learnt a lot about the other daycare centre and the other country. The digital exchange between the children is to continue beyond the end of the project. Two work shadowing trips took place, during which the professionals got to know each other's centres. At the end of the project, a public digital closing event took place and an article will be published to make the experiences and examples of good practice visible to interested parties beyond the project participants.
