Objectives

The main objectives of the project were to promote interest and excellence in STEM education, develop key competencies in school education, and introduce innovative teaching and learning approaches. We aimed to enhance collaboration between educational institutions and businesses, fostering real-world connections for students. Additionally, we focused on promoting soft skills such as critical thinking, communication, creativity, and collaboration among students. The project also aimed to contribute to the digital transformation of school education, making schools pioneers in adopting new, effective methods for teaching STEM. Ultimately, we wanted to cultivate future-ready learners, equipped with the skills needed for the labor market and empowered to drive social change.

Activities

In our project, we implemented a variety of activities to achieve our objectives. We began with the preparation phase, including the creation of a project board, design of a project logo, and development of the project website. We also organized e-Twinning studies, a project logo competition, and designed information cards for dissemination. Meetings were held to introduce the project to students, teachers, parents, and local administrators, providing an overview of the project and its partners. We promoted the project through these meetings and created awareness of the importance of STEM education. Throughout the project, we organized exchanges and transnational meetings to facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing between partner schools. These activities were complemented by regular evaluation meetings to assess progress and impact. The results were shared through a dedicated website and in public exhibitions for the local community and wider audiences.

Impact

We successfully integrated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) as an innovative education model in participating schools, promoting best practices in teaching and learning. Project FB-page: A fully functional FB page was created, serving as a platform for sharing resources, outcomes, and updates. Student Competencies: Students developed crucial soft skills such as critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration, with a focus on real-life problem-solving in STEM fields. Multinational Network: A strong network was built among schools across different countries, allowing for continued cooperation and shared STEM resources beyond the project’s duration. Exhibitions and Dissemination: Local exhibitions showcased the project’s results to a wider audience, including parents, local authorities, and the general public, raising awareness about the value of STEM education. Educational Materials: We developed teaching resources, including guides and e-books, which will continue to be used after the project's completion.
