▶Objectives
The project was a cross-border mobility project where the participants had to achieve learning through a cultural meeting. A central focal point in the entire project was the environment and the fight against climate change. Our main objective with the project was based on the three themes, which included cooperation between educational institutions and companies, energy and resources and green competences. Our aim was to concretize the concept of "sustainability" and create a common understanding of the opportunities and challenges in connection with the green transition in the EU Another objective of the project was also to examine the concept of "sustainability" from different perspectives, e.g. the social, municipal, commercial and activist perspective. The purpose of this was to discuss the different angles on the sustainability issue and thereby expand each other's views on the area. All this gave the target groups in the project a nuanced picture of the subject, but also a greater awareness of opportunities and limitations within sustainability. Finally, the project should create reflection, motivation to think innovatively, inspire each other and jointly develop innovative solutions.
▶Activities
"A sustainability festival" with a European perspective: A whole day at Køge Gymnasium, where the school oozed energy and the theme "Sustainability". 1200 students (both Danish and German students) first participated in a joint lecture, then there were workshops and small happenings with different themes and finally a debate with different angles on sustainability. See Appendix 3: Program for the sustainability festival. Cultural meetings around the common focal point "sustainability": Visit to Neues Gymnasium Potsdam (spring 2023) and a revisit to Neues Gymnasium Potsdam (winter 2024). See appendix 7: Program for activities in Køge and Berlin. Building working communities (environmental committee, teachers and management): In order to share knowledge and create a common awareness of how we can best work with the subject of "sustainability" in everyday life, meetings were held across the organisations. See appendices 2 and 6: Program for exchange meetings in Køge and Berlin. Network formation with the involvement of external partners (local and European): In order to give the cultural meetings across the border more content, it was necessary to involve external partners, to give the target groups new perspectives.
▶Impact
